The Heritage Hotel Manila’s Chef Alex Chong started things off as he let guests in on Singapore’s most-loved culinary masterpieces last July 28 at Rustan’s Supermarket Shangri-La Plaza, cooking up a Singaporean feast of classic dishes including Hainanese Chicken Rice, Singapore Chili Prawn & Pineapple and Singapore Bak Kut Teh.
Meanwhile, it will be AzuTai's premier chefs J Gamboa and Watee turn tomorrow as they both present culinary enthusiasts, foodies, shoppers, and guests a step-by-step tutorial on making the AzuThai Tom Yam Goong (Hot & Sour Prawn Soup), AzuThai Pla Naeng Ma Naw (Steamed Whole Boneless Apahap), AzuThai Geng Kew Wan Gai (Green Chicken Curry) at Rustan’s Supermarket Rockwell, 4PM.
Asian Street Food Invasion, which runs until August 15 at all Rustan’s Supermarket Fresh branches, zooms in on the products and ingredients that make up the colorful street food offerings of Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, thus bringing shoppers a multi-sensorial feast of flavors that allows them to experience an important part of their culture and lifestyle.
