Lettuce wrap and kung pao at Krazy Garlic
Krazy Garlik introduces new dishes including lettuce wrap, stir-fried minced chicken, turnips, coconut flakes, diced ripe mango and garlic chip; mixed together and rolled in fresh Romaine lettuce leaves. The candied shrimp and walnut is made of shrimp slightly battered in honey dressing and served with candied walnuts and Mandarin orange slices. Dishes prepared from a wok are a big part of Krazy Garlik’s menu. For entrees, try the crispy orange shrimp, seasoned fresh shrimps coated in special batter and tossed in a homemade orange sauce for that citrusy flavor and Mongolian beef with slices of premium beef, turnips and onions in the restaurant’s own Mongolian sauce. Filipino buffet at Patio Carlito
Patio Carlito offers beef kaldereta, chicken galantina, Adobo Salgado, grilled bangus and pusit, favada Kapampangan, paella Manileña, among many others. The dishes were taken from heirloom recipes of the family of restaurateur Raymund Magdaluyo. The Adobo Salgado is made with chicken and pork but castanas and black olives are added, which give the dish a distinctive taste. The beef kaldereta makes use of light soy sauce. Tidtad is bloodless dinuguan made with liempo and kasim. The humba with pineapple juice and banana blossoms is another family heirloom recipe. There is a carving station at the dinner buffet, which features either roast chicken or roast beef. For dessert, there is a halo-halo station as well as assorted native kakanin and delicacies such as sapin-sapin, biko, and maja blanca.
