So orange, so Chowking

MANILA, Philippines - Chowking, now on its 25th year goes orange as it launches its newest dish alongside endorser Jericho Rosales.

Chowking Fort Bonifacio became the venue for introducing Orange Chicken with the Internet community grooving to the latest dance craze with Jericho.

“With the combination of our favorite chicken plus sweet flavor of orange, Chowking’s new Orange Chicken is really a new way to enjoy any lunch or dinner meal. This is certainly an awesome meal that gives chicken a whole new dimension – an instant favorite,” shares Jericho. Cosplay personality Alodia Gosiengfiao says, “It is really a different take on your regular chicken!” Rica de Jesus of Heart-2 Heart Online also says that “Chowking is suddenly one of my favorite fast food places nowadays! I recently tried their new Orange chicken and love it. It reminds me of one of my favorite dishes…and in Chowking I can have it for P69.”

And doing the moves himself, Jericho taught everyone the coolest chicken dance moves. Chef Rosebud Benitez relates “I was dancing the Orange Chicken Dance all throughout my break time from taping in Tagaytay! My production people were looking at me thinking and laughing that I might have gone nuts.

The event was led by Chowking’s president Erwin Elechicon; marketing director Edward Arandia and brand group manager Chris Monteron. Top bloggers Cecile Van Straten for Chuvaness, Arpee Lazaro, Marcelle Fabie and Rowena Wendylei.

Orange chicken is generously topped with flavorful amber-colored sauce and mandarin bits. It is available in rice chow meal for P69, in lauriat for P99 and salo set to share only for P125.
