Coke Zero zeroes in on Agent 007

Ever since Coke Zero zeroed in on the Philippines, it has pushed itself to the edge by making the impossible possible.

Joining Coke Zero’s leap in breaking the stereotype is the secret agent known for his suave moves. James Bond, also known as Agent 007, a world-famous super spy, has become an iconic character that truly exemplifies the Coke Zero way of life.

James Bond epitomizes what Coke Zero stands for. Bond is always set for adrenaline-packed combat, he stands invincible, and incredibly capable of surviving every seemingly unsurpassable situation he gets caught in.

Last Nov. 5, Coke Zero, in partnership with Columbia Pictures and Ayala Mall Cinemas, brought to the Philippines the gripping rush and thrill that enthralled millions all over the globe with the premiere of Quantum of Solace with a uniquely themed pre-event party.

From the moment guests received their invitations, they were enveloped into the intricate world of secret agents, as they were instructed to join a special top-secret mission.

Intrigued, guests headed to the Ascott Makati poolside where special guests gathered, all personifying unconventional lifestyles.

Asked to pick out five mystery chips from a box and given their auction paddles, they were then welcomed by the blues ensemble Brass Munkeys, which rendered James Bond themes arranged into remarkable modern versions.

As if the music wasn’t enough to establish a definite James Bond feel, Bond girls and crime bosses roamed around and mingled with the agents who graced the occasion.

Host DJ Gino Quillamor of RX 93.1 took center stage to detonate the night’s biggest surprise — the auction. Auctioneers battled it out for the chance to win digital cameras and an iPod Touch.

To the crowd’s amazement, James Bond himself suddenly appeared to instruct guests to fulfill their final missions. They were then escorted to Glorietta 4 Cinema 3.

As the guests took their seats, they were surprised with the Coke Zero Limited Edition Cans placed in their respective cup holders.

Coke Zero also makes the impossible possible. At various locations such as the MRT, Coke Zero surprised commuters by encouraging them to try for themselves its real Coke taste, zero sugar.
