MANILA, Philippines — From the publisher of widely-acclaimed novel “Diary ng Panget” comes the “diary ng maganda” — “Mukhang Artista: 100+ Celebrities on Beauty and Makeup.”

The first lifestyle bookazine (book laid-out like magazine) of top publishing house Psicom, “Mukhang Artista: 100+ Celebrities on Beauty and Makeup” is arguably the most comprehensive beauty book in the market today, with tips from not only one or two stars, but from over 100 male and female, local and foreign celebrities, hauled from over 10 years of interviews of lifestyle and entertainment journalist Deni Rose M. Afinidad-Bernardo, currently lifestyle and entertainment editor of Philstar.com.

“Mukhang Artista” is a geek’s take on beauty as it contains 10 chapters of beauty journey stories, philosophies and tips not only from TV and movie stars, but also from beauty queens, celebrity doctors, makeup artists, hairstylists, and other beauty industry experts who are celebrities in their own fields and who have helped shape and define today’s most famous faces and beauty standards.

Apart from physical beauty, beauty regimens and makeup tricks, the book explores holistic beauty by revealing how celebrities achieve inner beauty through proper diet, positive attitude and spirituality.

Featuring actress and celebrity royalty Kylie Padilla on the cover, with cover design by former Circuit magazine Creative Director Renan D. Ramirez and inside layout by The Daily Tribune Layout Artist Marivic Narrido-Clemente, “Mukhang Artista: 100+ Celebrities on Beauty and Makeup” is a must-read for everyone looking for timeless #BeautyGoals.

“Mukhang Artista: 100+ Celebrities on Beauty and Makeup” is now available at National Bookstore, Booksale and Expressions outlets nationwide and online via Shopee.com.

Last November 21, the book was officially launched at Trufa Pasta Bar in 109 Esteban St., Legaspi Village, Makati City, hosted by co-owner Patricia Espino and Spark It team.

Apart from Trufa's Spanish-style tapas and wine, guests also enjoyed free beauty makeovers and consultations from a professional makeup artist, as well as treats from Watsons Philippines and First Tier Brands.

While having their books signed, guests played a "What's in the Box?" game inspired by Liza Soberano's trending video.
