Bridal show in Guam promotes Philippines as wedding destination

The winners of the 2015 Miss World Guam model Michael Leyva’s bridemaids and wedding gowns.

MANILA,Philippines –  Philippines was showcased as a great wedding and honeymoon destination in a two-day event held in Guam from October 24 to 25.

The Guam-Manila Bridal and Honeymoon Showcase by Rita Neri, Chief Executive Officer and President of Rita Neri Event Planners (RNEP), was highlighted by a fashion show featuring the wedding collection designed by renowned Philippine couturier Michael Leyva.

The collection, paraded by the winners of the 2015 Miss World Guam on the catwalk includes floral embellished gowns for the bridesmaids and lace and beaded wedding gowns for the brides - a perfect combination of conservative and sexy, old and new, that captured the attention of the audience.

Also featured on the event are other Philippine products and services such as high-quality printing of corporate marketing materials and event programs, design production of event collateral and conference kits, producing wedding documentaries, videos and audio-visual production, photography, light and sounds, cake decorations and flower arrangements.

Presentations were open to the general public with the aim of promoting what the Philippines can offer to Guamanians, Filipino-Americans and other foreign parties as wedding and honeymoon destination, as well as to promote other Philippine products and services.
