Biker chic: Vero Moda’s Macy jacket from Denmark at Mega Fashion Hall

MANILA, Philippines - There’s a lot of fashion buzz about Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall’s game-changing new wing.

What’s trending at the new Mega Fashion Hall?  It is home to the flagship stores of the world’s most popular fashion brands, and walking down its tiny interiors is very much like taking a style tour in the fashion capitals of the world.

Denmark’s Vero Moda was brought by Ben Chan who opened its first store in the Philippines. European fashion brands such as Spain’s Bershka, Italy’s Ellesse, and Belgium’s Hedgren bring continental chic to the Mega Fashion Hall along with classic timepieces from TW Steel from the Netherlands and Victorinox and Wenger from Switzerland. US skin care brand Philosophy is also here.

It’s also a great place to shop for UK brands with River Island’s great going-out looks, amazing denim and fabulous shoes and bags; Superdry’s Japanese graphics and vintage Americana infused with the values of British tailoring; Warehouse’s trendy clothes and accessories; and Dune London’s footwear and accessories leading the way.

Asian brands show their stylish side in the flagship store of Japan’s Uniqlo, and G200 and Giordano boutiques from Hong Kong. An American classic Calvin Klein Jeans highlights casual dressing for all ages.

Swedish retailer H&M will open its first store in the Philippines at the Mega Fashion Hall in the middle of the year, as will Spain’s Pull & Bear, Zara and Uno de 50; LA-based Joe’s Jeans; London’s Savile Row and Burton; and French shoe brand Nao de Brasil, which are scheduled to open soon.
