Mario Katigbak has always been known for his refined taste and the super luxe products that he represents, yet one will never hear him brag or hard sell anyone. It was therefore a pleasure to accept his invitation to Bulgari’s salon show that was low-key and cozy, yet so elegantly presented. The intimate setting where comfortable sofas and armchairs were put along the long corridor of the Makati Shangri-La proved to be an excellent idea so that the latest collection could be viewed and examined up close by a select group of friends and clients.
Bulgari’s Diva collection was inspired by screen goddesses Elizabeth Taylor, Ingrid Bergman and Sophia Loren — iconic Hollywood stars who were also revered Bulgari patrons.
Founded in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, the windows of its flagship store in Rome’s prestigious Via Condotti scintillate with alluring jewelry and timepieces that only Bulgari can conceptualize. Their innovative styles and settings feature boldly cut precious and semi-precious stones with shining diamonds, Bulgari’s trademark known the world over.
