MANILA, Philippines - Joie de vivre: a keen enjoyment of living, the joy of being alive. This is the theme chosen by international haute couture brand Escada as it unveils its fall/winter 2009 collections.
The collection is centered on a gorgeous portfolio of photographs by renowned fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, taken in and around the Berlin Lapidarium in Germany. Posing with the monumental antique sculptures is the collection’s odalisque, the popular Czech model Eva Herzigova, who shows off Escada’s modern interplay of static and dynamic forms.
In addition to the beautiful, elegant and sensual clothes of the new collection, Escada will also be releasing its newest trends in accessories, such as bags and sunglasses to complement the clothes.
