Dear Rissa,
I’m a middle-aged mom who isn’t really much in the know about beauty products. I’ve noticed wrinkles around my eyes, and my neck area isn’t as firm anymore. I don’t want to resort to surgery or anything invasive. Are there beauty products to help treat my concerns? Please help.

Have you tried Model Co’s antiaging serum Erase Those Fine Lines (exclusively available at Beauty Bar)? It offers surgery results without the syringe. It delivers instant results comparable to Botox, without the needles or damage to the skin and facial muscles. It contains the revolutionary QuSome delivery system, said to be the most superior antiaging formulation on the market today (it has received two US patents). It works instantly to minimize the length and depth of wrinkles — you see results in two minutes! And cumulative use offers a 27 percent reduction in the appearance of wrinkles after 30 days. With repeated use, it helps prevent the signs of premature aging. It targets wrinkles around the eye area, brow lines, forehead creases, and lip lines. Model Co signed up supermodel Elle Macpherson to promote this product. “I love the idea of promoting non-invasive solutions to wrinkles,” she says. For someone, like you, who feels the same way about surgery and invasive procedures, Model Co Erase Those Fine Lines is the answer.
The neck area is really often neglected by women. Over time, skin starts to sag and lose firmness. Proper care should be given to this area, too. I recommend Dermelect Self-Esteem Neck Firming Lift (exclusively available at Rustan’s Essenses). Dermelect is a cosmeceutical line formulated by medical professionals and licensed estheticians. It was developed under the guidance of the Dermelect Board of Advisors, an established group of professionals, all centering their careers on skincare but with different backgrounds, such as cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, and skincare specialists. The brand concentrates on prevention as well as treatment. It provides targeted solutions to focused areas to provide ultimate benefits. The Dermelect Self-Esteem Neck Firming Lift was specifically formulated with age-defying ingredients, antioxidants, and a total moisture replacement system to hydrate, firm, tighten, and streamline the delicate skin of the neck. This product effectively helps increase the elasticity and resiliency of the skin. It tones the appearance of sagging facial contours of the neck and jawline area. It also evens out your skin tone and helps fade the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The Lowdown on Summer Makeup
Hi, Lucy!
It is terrible to wear makeup during summer because everything just melts away under the heat! The thing is, I cannot afford to go without makeup. As a contractor to high-profile clients, I have to look polished as I go from the office to the site nd back to the office again. Any suggestions?
Carla
Make Up For Ever (available at its boutiques at Shangri-La Plaza Mall, SM City North Edsa, and at Marionnaud, Mall of Asia) has an excellent water-proof line of products. Its Face & Body Liquid Make Up evens out complexion as it leaves a slight sheen of powder for a very natural but flawless look. Once dry, it stays on and will not stain clothes. When you retouch, make sure you blot your face first with paper before you dust loose powder again. I like the Stardom Aqua Trans Powder from Awake in Pink Sunset (available at Rustan’s) because it is so fine and has a cool, fresh feel on the skin upon application.

What and Wear
Dear Tingting,
I’m based in Phuket and I’ve been an avid reader of Style SOS through the Internet. I’d like to know what kind of clothes and shoes I should bring to Italy and Monte Carlo if I’m planning to stay there for three weeks in September. My clothes here are entirely island- and summer-inspired, which I don’t think would be suitable in Europe. And of course, I want to be fashionable there!
Pat
I would bring, as usual, white and black clothes to wear wth my flat black Ferragamo shoes or the ones with tiny heels. A black top and pants with a sweater I’d never leave home without. A heavy beige jacket over my white linen shirts, I would match with black skirts for daytime or nighttime.
I would also pack two printed Kenzo skirts that are wash-and-wear with two T-shirts — one pink and one beige; two pairs of blue jeans with a white top and a cropped fatigue-colored jacket. Never mind if some clothes are white, I dare to bring them along — they’re from Tina Ocampo’s store and are reasonably priced.
Ciao! Have a good trip!
Tingting
