Colors of Thailand @ The Pen

MANILA, Philippines - It’s an open fact that the Philippines and Thailand have a long and deep relationship with each other. To make this bond even stronger, a special night of Thai culture and fashion, spearheaded by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, was held recently at The Conservatory, Manila Peninsula. Gracing the exclusive celebration were two important figures – Khun Kanokkittika Kritwutikon, director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Ambassador Thanatip Upatising of the Embassy of Thailand to the Philippines. Indeed, it was a special occassion to celebrate the Colors of Thailand.

The evening started with a gracious cocktail spread of Thai cuisine canapés and desserts welcoming guests from the diplomatic community, business and society. Guests also got to witness the exhibit highlighting Thai fashion and food just before they entered the main Conservatory area.

A short program was hosted by none other than Manila’s top party denizen Tim Yap helped to vivify the event. Likewise, Khun Kanokkittika Kritwutikon shared the spotlight and gave a few words on the night’s stellar offering. Photos by Mike Amoroso
