Sake Night @ Edsa Shagri-La

MANILA, Philippines -  Another spectacular Sake dinner was presented by the Philippine Wine Merchants at the Senju of the Edsa Shangri-la Manila last August. Japan’s foremost Sake company, GEKKEIKAN1, hosted the evening along with select dishes meticulously prepared by Japanese Master Chef Kiyoshi Ogawa.

The event was well-attended by hoteliers, some of Manila’s top businessmen, spirit industry personalities and foodies. 

The evening began with sake-inspired cocktails at the E-Bar featuring a sake-cranberry concoction, followed by sparkling sake, a one-of-a-kind sake style produced using the Champagne Method that only Gekkeikan presently offers.
