MANILA, Philippines - It was a night of celebration, merriment, and a fond recollection of the year’s past and the anticipation of the coming year as Nedy Tantoco and Patrick Jacinto celebrated their annual New Year ’s Eve party. Before all the festivities, a thanksgiving Mass was celebrated at the chapel of the Our Lady of Guadalupe in the garden. After which, everyone was ushered for hors d’oeuvres at the pool garden while the dinner and main program were held at a specially constructed pavilion. Mandarin Oriental Manila catered the dinner and served haute cuisine at its best by the Mandarin’s Executive Chef Rene Ottlik.
Nedy Tantoco welcomed everyone and gave a fitting speech sharing the real purpose of the party, she shared that, “the New Year’s eve parties have not only given us all a chance to be together at least once for every change of the year, but to experience the changes in our lives, our families’ growths, and the natural camaraderie and warmth among us all.” She continued, “This is a night of FAMILY. I feel so happy that through the years, as the New Year’s Eve Party developed, so did families.
