MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Tourism invited a group of 33 Hong Kong travel agency owners and top executives to visit the Philippines to inspect the latest developments in Manila. This is part of DOT’s continuing efforts to reconnect with partners from the Hong Kong travel trade and reaffirm the country’s position as a safe, enjoyable and attractive destination for travelers.
The high-level delegation included some of the most influential people in the Hong Kong travel industry, among them, a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Honorable Paul Tse JP, and eight Hong Kong Travel Industry Council board of directors, as well as its former chairman.
