MANILA, Philippines - The Japanese guitar virtuoso Minoru Inagaki performs on March 27, 8 p.m. at the Insular Life Theater in Filinvest, Alabang.
Inagaki took up a guitar course at the Paris Conservatory in France and graduated with top honors. It was here that he won first prize in the Paris U.F.A.M. International Music Competition followed by another first prize award at the 6th Segoria International Guitar Competition in Spain.
In 1994, Inagaki produced CD albums titled “Sonatina,” “Fantasia” and “Reverie.” In 1998, he did a recording with Matsunoto, J.S. Bach’s Italian concert for two guitars, released by Gendai Guitar Co.
