MANILA, Philippines - Pioneer Life celebrated the achievements of its outstanding sales performers at its annual Focus Awards night, where trophies created by renowned Filipino artists Impy Pilapil and Claude Tayag were presented.
In line with its commitment and appreciation of Philippine arts and culture, Pioneer Life commissioned Pilapil and Tayag to design trophies that are as much sculptural pieces as they are symbols of success.
Pilapil’s piece is a glass wave that indicates constant movement and reflects light off curves and orbs.
Tayag’s trophy uses four different kinds of wood, carved into four circles representing the Pioneer agency values of Fairness, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.
The awardees also received incentive trips that gave them more than just a glimpse of global destinations. They made their own pewter bowls at Royal Selangor in Malaysia; recreated the grand prix experience in Macau; and have raced downhill on a luge in New Zealand, among other experiences.
