MANILA, Philippines - Tanghalang Ateneo sets off its 31st season with Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses, a compilation of 10 mythologies, based on Ovid’s narrative poem, that deal with the transfiguring power of love.
The mythical and romantic Metamorphoses is under the direction of Jay Crisostomo, assisted by Dan Chua, with Ricardo G. Abad as artistic consultant. Completing the team are Monica Sebial (set design), Samantha Quizon (costume design), Lester Abuel for sound and Mio Sta. Maria for lights. Graphics is by Gush Dilay while Joyce Villanueva is in charge of movement and choreography.
