An exquisite dinner, non-stop dancing and the presence of exceptional friends marked the recent 11th anniversary celebration of Philippine Tatler.
To cap a decade of successes, the glossy magazine, led by its managing director Irene Martel-Francisco and editor-in-chief Anton San Diego, hosted the 11th Philippine Tatler Ball held at the Makati Shangri-La’s Rizal Ballroom.
Seen at the red carpet event were business tycoons Jaime Augusto and Fernando Zobel de Ayala with their respective spouses Lizzie and Kit, Rustan Commercial Corp. president Nedy Tantoco, French Ambassador Gilles Garachon with his wife Isabelle and Italian Ambassador Luca Fornari with his wife Silvana, Lucerne managing director Emerson Yao, Ambassador Isabel Caro-Wilson and Makati Shangri-La general manager and Shangri-La Hotels Philippines area manager Reto Klauser, among many dazzling personalities.
The A-list guests were treated to a superb five-course meal downed by the finest spirits to mark the milestone. Haute couture and glittering jewelry aside, the Ball is also known for being a showcase of civic consciousness through its yearly auction, which had Teach for the Philippines as this year’s beneficiary.
