Ready, gad-get, go!

MANILA, Philippines - It’s going to be a festive and fashionable Christmas as Sony Philippines spreads the love this holiday season with its campaign “love.Christmas.” The people behind this mega-brand believe that during this time of the year, everything people give — whether to others or to themselves — is a gesture of love.

love.Christmas acknowledges the simple but timeless and strong human emotion, which is especially pronounced during the giving season that is Christmas. Bedecked with dazzling decorations and sparkling set-ups, Sony’s Christmas Village at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza was both merry and magical. The gadget-crazy members of the media and dealers surely were in techie heaven when they found themselves amidst different Sony products at the Christmas Village.

“This holiday season, Sony wants Filipinos to be able to share their love in style not only with products that are technologically advanced and chic, but can actually enhance how people live, which for us is the essence of love,” says Takao Kuroda, Sony Philippines managing director.

Some of the products highlighted in the Sony Christmas Village include the Bravia 65HX925, the largest Internet TV to date at 65 inches; PS3’s NBA 2K12, the game that brings back the basketball legends (yes, including His Airness Michael Jordan!); the Sony VAIO EK25, a powerful 14-inch mobile PC now made more affordable; Cyber-shot’s newest DSC-TX55, the world’s slimmest fashion camera; and the much awaited NEX 5n and Alpha SLTA77, the pinnacle of the brand’s professional digital imaging technology (where some key features were personally demonstrated by young filmmaker Paul Soriano).

From Oct. 21 to 23, Sony Philippines is giving its patrons an early Christmas treat as it holds a three-day Consumer Treat at the Megatent Events place in Ortigas. Here, it doesn’t matter if you’re naughty or nice. Either way, you can avail yourself of up to 70 percent discount on Sony products, exclusive bundles, pick-a-prize items plus exciting daily and grand raffles.

“Sony Philippines has definitely been a brand that Filipinos has come and continue to love over the years. This Christmas, we want to return that love by enabling them to give love in Sony style,” concludes Kuroda.
