Future sense

Fashion is all about the new, the now and the next. In Philippine fashion, there are countless aspiring young designers who want to break into the industry. Just recently, a new wave of promising talents graduated from The School of Fashion and the Arts (SOFA) to enter the creative world of fashion. The five young hopefuls, namely, Geoffrey Zordilla, Gabbie Sarenas, Kirby Cruz, Nicee Atienza and Vince Tolentino, showcased their collections via a show held at The Loft @ Manansala in Rockwell.

Each artist presented his or her aesthetics, style and identity with an eight-to-10-piece narrative of outstanding creations. Distinct from one another, each designer brilliantly displayed a variety of perspectives that represent the different target markets in fashion. Channeling what is now, this union under SOFA presents a range and variety of design styles. This prestigious fashion school is one of the current breeding grounds where design is cultivated and promoted. The optimistic and refreshing display of what’s next to come in the future of fashion is with the youth. The  aspirational insights through their designs give a glimpse of style forward.

Congratulations to SOFA 2011 graduates and welcome to Philippine fashion.
