Precious stones – sapphires, rubies, garnets and emeralds – have extremely fascinated jewelry designer Tamara Comolli. This gave birth to her lifelong obsession on enchanting Color Stories. Growing up with strong influence culled from her high-society European sojourns in Spain, France and Gibraltar and being surrounded by riches and prime luxury, it is not a mystery that she ends up in this kind of profession. If a seven-year-old child would look at Comolli’s Color Stories, he or she would be seeing a gigantic gumball machine, a dozen flavors of ice cream and a handful of Skittles all at once. Celebration of color and the highest quality of stones are distinct in the designer’s mouth-watering creations; it is like entering a whimsical world of sparkling gems and taking an exotic trip to a forbidden paradise. Time and again, it has been said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, though there is something mysterious and special about gemstones. Colored gems are believed to have healing and magical powers. Heat and pressure of the earth have strangely given these stones their own depth and color thereby making each gem unique.

The world of gemstones undoubtedly captured the passion of Comolli who amazingly did not even study gemology. It is as if she envisions looking through a kaleidoscope with an endless play of colors and turns the sweetest dreams into prized masterpieces to satisfy the desire of individuality. The Tamara Comolli Fine Jewelry Collection is a company that has been founded just a little more than 10 years, and yet, as early as today, some of her designs are already collector’s pieces. This attests to the extraordinary craftsmanship of Comolli.
