Distinguished jewelry manufacturer Rafael Jewellery, led by its president Raffy Florencio, launched yet another stunning masterpiece truly deserving of its world-class stature: the Queens Heart collection. A remarkable, internationally patented heart-shaped setting formed by two half moons and a princess cut, the Queens Heart has an entire collection comprised of high-quality stones ranging from 0.20 points to 2 carats. It has earned the prestigious International Gemological Institute (IGI) Certificate of Excellence. This award-giving body is the largest independent gem grading and appraisal institute in the world, renowned for its expertise and extensive experience in serving the diamond and jewelry industry for over 25 years. A high-profile launch befitting such an important occasion was held at the Makati Shangri-La where jewelry aficionados, business executives and Manilas crème de la crème were serenaded by jazz chanteuse Lynn Sherman.
Your columnist anchored the magical evenings proceedings while inventor and patent holder of the famous Queens Heart design Jacob Rachmany added more credibility and prestige to the event. The president and CEO of JR Diamond International Ltd. is also an illustrious member of the Israeli Diamond and Precious Stones Exchange and a major contributor to the development of Israels diamond industry in the 80s. Bringing pizzazz to the night was a fashion show of top models clad in elegant Escada gowns and bedecked in precious Queens Heart pieces. The fashion extravaganza was followed by a rare chance of viewing the entire collection in the gallery area, before the sparkling jewels make their tour of key cities in the Southeast Asian region. Bravo!
(The Queens Heart collection is available at Rafael Jewellery stores at the second floor of EDSA Shangri-La Plaza Mall and at the Mezzanine Level of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.)
