A golden milestone

It is indeed a joyous and momentous occasion when a couple marks their 50th year of wedded bliss.

Cesar and Menchu Bautista recently commemorated their golden wedding anniversary at Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park, Makati. The couple’s family and close friends, all clad in stylish barongs and cocktail dresses, were all present to celebrate their marital milestone.

After the touching ceremony, everyone proceeded to The Conservatory at The Peninsula Manila for cocktails and dinner. The family bonding didn’t stop there as the whole Bautista family spent the weekend in Boracay afterwards for further fellowship.

Much more happiness in the years to come, Cesar and Menchu! Your love is an inspiration to us all!

Look Who’s Talking: Looking forward to Monday

Mondays are something to look forward to, thanks to our favorite lifestyle talk show Look Who’s Talking, starring the talkative trio of Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Anton San Diego and your columnist.

Our guests are Armida Siguion-Reyna and Dr. Vince Gomez of the Philippine Orthopedic Institute as they talk about how to handle osteoporosis. We also toured Armida’s beautiful new house, which is just right next to Tessa’s. I take you to the launch of Trivento Wines, while Anton brings us to the party here in Manila in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s birthday. Tessa, meanwhile, shows us the baptism of her beautiful baby daughter Athena. The show kicks off at 10 p.m. this Monday, Aug. 8, on ABC5, shot in our elegant set in Federal Design Expo.
