The trio was supported by pioneering entrepreneur Florence Ko, the exclusive distributor of Europes most respected name in furniture, whose manufacturers are the same craftsmen who produce specially-made chairs and tables for Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconis G8 Summit meeting and the durable seats made for high-end models of BMW cars.
Jojo, Mellie and Tereret together with Florence, who looked dazzling in her Chinoiserie and Patrick Valero accessories, held the classy high tea at the impressive FurnITALIA showroom in Greenhills, replete with elegant table settings of lush flower centerpieces, dainty tea cups, silverware and tablecloths of delicate lace. More satisfying were the freshly-baked scones, delectable finger sandwiches, and yes, also the very British "cucumber on white," highlighted with a rich variety of jams, marmalade and cream cheese. A selection of over 14 different teas was available, delighting all those present.
Set amidst FurnITALIAs high-end pieces, the lucky invitees had a great time scurrying from Poltrona Fraus immaculate white Twice sofa, the seductive fire engine-red Vanity Fair armchair, the masculine black Larus massage chair, to Comforts polished Levante chairs and table of white oak and Longhis superb Capotavola table and Madras seats in oak, wenge and natural leather. It was truly a wonderful and stylish way to pass the time with friends!
See you at FurnITALIA!
