No less than the San Miguel Philharmonic Orchestra was present to provide musical renditions. The guests of honor included SMC chairman Eduardo Cojuangco, Philippine Hoteliers president Khun Chatrachai Bunya-Ananta, Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay and SMC president Ramon Ang. After the ribbon-cutting, the ceremonial tapping and offering by San Miguel Corp. and Dusit Hotel Nikko executives were done with SMC president Ramon Ang, Philippine Hoteliers director Khun Khampi Suwanarat, Dusit Hotel Nikko VP and GM Chiyuki Fujimoto and CKAG-SMC VP and GM Daniel Javier offering mugs filled with freshly brewed San Miguel Beer to the guests of honor. A toast soon followed and more swigs of beer made the crowd enjoy to the fullest the music of Paolo Santos and Rockin Revival.
About 300 guests and clients came and partied until the wee hours of the morning. Fiesta San Miguel guests included the hotels board of directors and patrons like Philippine Hoteliers director Evelyn Singson, SGV founder Washington Sycip, former Sen. Ernesto Maceda, British Airways manager Violy Echevarria, Quantas Airways Philippine manager Honeybee Hubahib, Air France manager Louie Vergeon, Asiana Airlines general manager Rene Banzon, Billiard champion Efren "Bata" Reyes and San Miguel cagers Boybitz Victoria and Nick Belasco.
The super efficient Dusit team of Ruby Carillo, Bobby dela Cruz and Gilbert Uy, led by GM Chiyuki Fujimoto ensured the smooth flow of the program, drinks and food to the great delight of all the guests! It is no doubt that people will be flocking Dusit to sample not only one of the best tasting beers in the world but the excellent service!
