Going Moroccan

"If you become a star, you don’t change, everyone else does." – Kirk Douglas

It was one hot Moroccan night at Dish, the ultimate in dining experience, when Tabu Swimwear presented the latest Australian swimwear in a successful fashion show entitled Moroccan Nights.

The venue was draped in rich fabrics, making it resemble a sandy dune with a harem of beautiful scantily-clad women.

Foxy ladies and cousins Lexi Schulze and Bianca Araneta hosted the event as a packed crowd of fashionistas and ogling males came in full force. Tabu owners Amanda Griffin and Isabel Engwa were seen busily preparing their models.

Voluptuous models, among them Phoemela Baranda and Viva Hot Babes Jennifer Rosendahl and Christine Jaca, presented the swimwear that shows off the innate beauty and shapely figure of Filipina women.
Just like Andy
Italian by birth, Filipino by heart, Sultan Armando "Andy" de Rossi continues his unselfish dedication to improving the lives of underprivileged Filipinos through the projects he spearheads. The latest of these is the turnover of a generator set, water pump, tents and medicines by the Joint US Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG) Philippines to the members of the 101st Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA), of which Andy is a very active member. The event also served as a celebration of the group’s 30th anniversary. The supplies will be used by the 101st PCGA in its rescue operations, medical missions and other humanitarian efforts.

Present at the turnover were Rear Admiral Ildefonso Tronquet of the PCGA; Major Don Bridgers of the JUSMAG; Capt. Romy Herman; Squadron Commander of the 101st PCGA; and Capt. Armando de Rossi.

Andy’s son Michael is also carrying on his father’s energetic spirit through scholastic and athletic achievements. Fourteen-year-old Michael of Brent School recently made waves at the championship of the national little league. Michael’s team, the All Star Majors, bested about 15 other teams from around the country and will represent the Philippines in the forthcoming regionals in Saipan. He led the team to victory with the highest score of homeruns and also has a batting average of 600. The All Stars is led by team manager Dito Borromeo.
