When Brits and Pinoys meet
The Philippine British Society held a general membership meeting at Fernando’s restaurant at the Rockwell Club, Makati with Ambassador Raul Goco as guest speaker and British Ambassador Paul Dimond and his charming wife, Carolyn as guests of honor.

The event began with cocktails where both the Filipino and British members reacquainted themselves. The evening ’s highlight was a speech delivered by former Solicitor General Raul Goco. He also emphasized that members should do their share to cultivate Philippine-British ties to further strengthen the already solid mutual understanding between the two countries.
