Stop NPA atrocities

MANILA, Philippines - It is not only shameful but also disheartening that nobody can control the barbaric actions of the New People’s Army. Have they just mastered the art of killing and ruining people’s lives or have they gotten a doctoral degree on how to escape government forces and the reins of justice?

It must have been sweet torture for the NPA when they brutally murdered S/Sgt. Efraim Bagonoc, a soldier, the father of Efrailyn, 15 years old, in front of her. These are works of the devil and this has to end.

This situation has in fact demonstrated the NPA’s capacity for defiance and intolerance to established national laws amidst government efforts to curtail the further advancement of their actions. They have gone beyond the limits.

And now the NPA has the right to question why the counter-insurgency efforts of the government are extended? With these actions who cannot help but vilify them?

Those who have the power and the authority to stop these actions from happening over and over again should immediately employ all efforts to halt its progression. Unless the NPA be stopped from these deplorable actions from happening then more and more incidents similar to this or maybe even more worse will continue.
