The end of the world
“The present world will end on
This doomsday assertion is different from apocalyptic prophecies or predictions by countless so-called “prophets” and by other similar prophecy-oriented self-proclaimed sages or saints. This conclusion is based on decoded Mayan astrological prophecies inscribed on the ruins of pyramids and temples lost in the middle of the dense rainforests of
The book tells in horrifying scientific details polar shift or tilting of the Earth’s axis, sun-spots and their reduced activity which caused the “decline of Mayan fertility and the sudden death of their civilization.” And perhaps the cause of the sudden disappearance of the Mayan people. It is scientific fact that from the year 2000 the whole solar system has started to experience extraordinary or abnormal solar behavior which scientists and astronomers seem to downplay, perhaps to avoid fear and chaos among the people.
An uncanny parallel to the Mayan date of the end of the world is the vision of the great and world-renowned Swiss psychiatrist and psychologist C. G. Jung (Carl Gustav Jung) who, before his death in 1961 had a series of visions. Marie Louise von Franz, his confidante and custodian of his notes and charts, divulged that Dr. Jung saw massive catastrophe “in the nature of a fiery holocaust, occurring in about fifty years (2010)” culminating in 2012.
Historians, bible scholars, theologians, clerics, lay Christians, non-believers and skeptics, are surprisingly in agreement as to the world’s possible horrible finale. “End Times,” “Judgement Day,” “Apocalypse,” “Armageddon,” “Doomsday,” “Days Of Darkness and Tribulation,” “The End of this Creation,” “The Quickening,” “The End of Time as We Know It,” etc. — will they happen because of Man’s folly, bringing about erratic weather patterns due to global warming as the environmentalists would readily argue, or are we in God’s wrath due to Man’s sinful ways? Who can tell?
The dates mentioned are sure to come. “…the end is near and so [we] face the final curtain…” What are we supposed to do when the curtain falls? There have been horrifying predictions in the past. The early Christians believed the Christ will come again in the year 1000 for the awaited war of good against evil; many believe The Book of Revelation by John in the New Testament; many believe Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and the other prophets of doom and gloom. Look, we are still here. Science and religion — which do we believe? We only know one thing for sure. When it comes, there is no escape. Don’t say we were not warned. Pray!
