The Cancer moon has you in a cuddly mood. An apple pie or big pot of sup will be enough to keep the whole family in with you. Encourage quiet people to speak up. Those who don’t contribute to the fun just need someone to make it safe for them to do so. Send away the critic who keeps people from feeling free.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Family events get you thinking, and higher education just might fill the void. It’s a conservative climate, and you’d rather challenge the rules than learn them. But learning is easier than you expect.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
A crazy leap just might be the thing to get your dream romance going. One bold move could explosively broaden your horizons. Aquarians and Libras are lucky to have around. Tonight’s fund includes interesting conversations.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
It doesn’t take as much as you think it will to get projects off the ground. Jump in. Help comes when people see how much fun you’re having doing it all by yourself. Siblings have great news, which makes your heart light.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)
. Big earnings come from small efforts. Once you’ve got everything planned, back up your data, and start over from the beginning. There’s brilliance in seeing everything a whole new way. Christ the fresh perspective.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
A gesture says more to someone you care about than the regular, meaningful, big stuff – like how you live your life. Everyone wants to feel appreciated, and it’s not too hard to think of a way to show it.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (November 17)
. What you give makes room for something terrific. Joy can be transforming. Someone who sees you on the street in January will hardly recognize the new you. Energy is high over the next seven weeks, and physically, you can really get into fantastic shape. Fashion, luxury goods, investments and advertising are lucky careers. Your lucky numbers are: 16, 39, 21, 19 and 5.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Get a practical handle on things – it only takes a day to file away (or throw away!) that pile you’ve been staring at for months. A new lease on life involves opening the doors and windows and getting some air to flow through.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
Being around brilliant and innovative people unleashes your creativity. For a loved one, it could have the opposite effect – making him or her envious or insecure. Bt this bout of low self-esteem will pass.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
The first step to achieving is being curious about how to do so. The things you wish for at night before you sleep affect your health. If you’re not living in a way that brings dreams to life, star.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Romantic issues come up – if you don’t feel equal, it’s a short-lived romance. Giving things up will be a slow process. For now, it’s better not to quit anything cold turkey. Slow and steady wins the victory.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Stalled projects can frustrate you, but beating your head against a wall won’t help. Direct your attention to other areas where things can be accomplished. Plow through a pile of paperwork, and reorganize at home.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
Dust the cobwebs off an old idea. It’s time to demonstrate what experience has taught. New relationships can lead to romance, so look sharp. Watch for chances to travel cheap. You meet someone cool online.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Motivation in the form of money pressure can bring out the genius in you. Revealing comments show a friend’s true colors. Young ones learn fro what you do whether or not you think you’re teaching them.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
The sexy glow of the Scorpio moon puts that autumnal bite into the air. It’s just a tad more difficult to get to bed at a decent hour, as all the action seems to start a sundown. The astute observer will notice all kinds of wild and natural occurrences, from the changing of leaves to the feral howls of creatures stalking the night. Scorpio is connected with the wild, and like a full moon, it tugs on your basic nature. Instincts are strong, and many times, you’ll feel like a cartoon character at a crossroads – the little angel sits on one shoulder while the devil taunts us from the other. Scorpio helps s prick up our ears to what both of these influences have to say, but of course, the choice remains personal. Leo lunar vibes stir up the gossip on Monday. Also Monday, a lucky trine involving Mars and Neptune brings exceptional dreams-into-action energy. Mercury enters Scorpio on Thursday, promising a Halloween of spooks and mystery. The week ends on a bittersweet romantic tone. You may not get what you want, but most will look back on this week and find they got what was needed.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Quirky and versatile, Toni Collete is the kind of actress you might not recognize from one film to the next. This intense Scorpio would do well to play a vixen-type character, as her Scorpio sex appeal cannot be underestimated. An unusual charitable contribution of hers may come into the limelight soon – something ardently private Scorpio just hates. But anything that helps a good cause is worth a bit of discomfort.
