At 2 p.m. today, tropical storm “Marce” was estimated based on radar, satellite and surface data at 440 kms east of Casiguran, Aurora with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move northwest at 15 kph.
Cagayan, Isabela and Northern Aurora will have stormy weather while the rest of northern Luzon and eastern section of central Luzon and Catanduanes including Polilo Island will experience rains and gusty winds.
While the rest of central and southern Luzon will be partly cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms. Visayas and Mindanao will be mostly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will prevail over the rest of central and southern Luzon with moderate to rough seas.
Temperature forecasts: Metro Manila, 23-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 16-23; Tagaytay City, 20-28; Subic and Clark zone, 24-33; Metro Cebu, 24-30; Metro Davao, 24-31; and Cagayan de Oro, 21-31.
