An easterly wave prevails over Mindanao, while a high pressure area will affect Luzon.

Mindanao will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, except during thunderstorms.
