Jobstreet launches AI engine for employers

MANILA, Philippines — Jobstreet by SEEK has introduced artificial intelligence (AI) into its platform, designed to help employers make quicker and informed recruitment decisions.

The employment platform has unveiled its proprietary AI engine seekAI, which is said to leverage more than 25 years of market intelligence and 750 million daily candidate and employer signals across the Asia-Pacific region.

The engine’s personalized targeting allows the selection of highly fit individuals for each specific business, based on role requirements, preferences and historical hiring activity.

It also connects employers with candidates who are up to five times more likely to apply and enables them to eliminate guesswork, reduce time-to-hire and secure qualified talent.

“By combining employment-specific data with agentic AI built directly into the workflow, seekAi is designed to reduce friction, improve talent matching and give leaders more time so they can focus on what matters most: their people,” Jobstreet by SEEK managing director Dannah Majarocon said.

Jobstreet said that recruitment methods have traditionally relied on broad keyword matching, which required employers to sift through hundreds of applications that may not align with their specific hiring needs.

“As talent acquisition grows more complex, businesses require intelligent systems that understand the specific nuances of their unique hiring needs,” it said.

SeekAI’s assist option can support more complex, multi-step workflows by responding to context and anticipating what needs to happen next.

It also allows talent acquisition teams to move beyond manual administration and focus on strategic human engagement.
