Fuel prices to rise again in last week of August

MANILA, Philippines — Oil prices are set to increase in the last week of August, the Department of Energy (DOE) said.

The price adjustments will take effect on Tuesday, August 25.

According to the DOE, the following price increases will be implemented per liter:

  • RON 97: P1.08
  • RON 95: P1.08
  • RON 91: P1.08
  • Diesel: P2.31
  • Diesel Plus: P2.31
  • Kerosene: P0.95

Last week, gasoline prices went up by P2.49 per liter, diesel by P3.84 per liter and kerosene by P5.01 per liter.

In separate advisories, Unioil, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Shell and Jetti Petroleum said they will implement fuel price adjustments starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
