Walang VIP treatment kay Jinggoy - BJMP
MANILA, Philippines — Tiniyak ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) na walang VIP treatment na ibibigay kay Senator Jinggoy Estrada at iba pang sangkot sa maanomalyang flood control scandal habang nakapiit sa Quezon City Jail.
Ayon kay JSupt. Jayrex Bustinera, kasama ni Estrada sa QC Jail sina Denryl Caeser Cortuna, Manny Bumagat Bulusan at Arturo Lombres Gonzales, Jr.
Aniya ang apat ay dumaan sa mandatory medical screening procedures pagkapasok ng kulungan.
“Estrada and his co-accused would be subject to the same security and custodial measures imposed on all detainees” dagdag ni Bustinera.
Nananatili naman sa PNP General Hospital si dating DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan makaraang atakihin ng high blood nitong Lunes.
Si Estrada at iba pang kapwa akusado ay ipinaaresto ng Sandiganbayan 5th Division dahil sa kasong plunder bukod pa sa graft charges na naisampa ng Office of the Ombudsman.
