MANILA, Philippines — College graduates applying for jobs may now secure their academic credentials via the eGovPH Super App, President Marcos announced on Friday.

Marcos launched the Electronic Certification, Authentication and Verification (eCAV) System, a digital platform designed to streamline students’ access to academic records such as diplomas, transcripts of records and other certificates necessary for their job applications.

“You no longer need to travel far. Through the eGovPH Super App, students or new graduates can now obtain academic credentials for their job applications,” Marcos said during the launch at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

The eGovPH Super App is a mobile application that integrates various national and local government services, eliminating the need to visit multiple agencies for a transaction.

Key features of the eCAV system include online payments, real-time tracking, timely updates of application status and a downloadable copy of the applicant’s certificates from their account or email.

Under Republic Act 11261, or the First Time Jobseekers Assistance Act, first-time jobseekers can be exempt from the CAV fee by providing a barangay certification.

The President also reaffirmed his commitment to ease the burden of parents struggling to send their children to school.

Qualified college students are entitled to full or partial tuition assistance under the Commission on Higher Education Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST), Marcos said.
