MANILA, Philippines (Update 4, 11:09 a.m.) — Several classes are suspended on Thursday, July 3, due to inclement weather.
Local government units announced the class suspensions as a low pressure area off Cagayan and the southwest monsoon or habagat continue to bring heavy rains.
Here’s a list of class suspensions for Thursday:
Metro Manila
- Las Piñas City – all levels, public and private
- Malabon City – alternative delivery mode in public elementary and secondary schools, starting 10 a.m.
- Marikina – all levels, public and private
- Muntinlupa City – morning classes for preschool, public and private and afternoon classes in all levels, public and private
- Parañaque City – afternoon classes in all levels, public and private
- Pasay City – all levels, public and private
- Pasig City – face-to-face classes for preschool to senior high school, early childhood care development and alternative learning system (ALS), public and private
- Pateros – classes in all levels, public and private, starting 10 a.m.
- Quezon City – face-to-face afternoon classes for preschool to senior high school, public
- San Juan City – no afternoon classes, all levels, public and private
- Valenzuela City – online and in-person classes for preschool to senior high school and face-to-face classes for college, public and private
Region I
- La Union
- Bacnotan – pre-school to Grade 12, public
Region II
- Cagayan
- Aparri – all levels, public and private
- Camalaniugan – all levels, public and private
- Gonzaga – preschool to senior high school and ALS
- Santo Niño – all levels, public and private
Region IV-A
- Cavite province – all levels, public and private
- Rizal
- Cainta – all levels, public and private
