FCF minerals, grand slam sa ‘Pres’l Award’ sa responsableng pagmimina

Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya – Muling nakuha ng FCF Minerals Corporation na nakabase sa Barangay Runruno, Quezon sa lalawigan ang pinakamataas na parangal sa larangan ng pagmimina sa ikatlong pagkakataon sa katatapos na 70th Annual National Mine Safety and Environment Conference (ANMSEC) na ginanap sa Camp John Hay, Baguio City. 

Ayon kay FCF Mi­nerals general manager for operations Lorne Harvey, ito na ang ikatlong taon na nakuha ng kumpanya ang prestihyosong Presidential Mi­neral Industry Environmental Award (PMIEA), ang pinakamataas na award na iginagawad ng Philippine Mine Safety and Environmental Association (PMSEA).

Nagwagi rin ang FCF Minerals ng dalawa pang parangal matapos tanghalin na winners sa Safest Surface Mining­ Operation Award at ­Safest Mining Operation Award.

“This award is for men and women in our Runruno mine operation. Without their tireless dedication to excellence, none of this would have been possible,” pahayag ni Harvey.

Ang taunang PMIEA award ay ipinagkakaloob lamang sa mga minahan na nagpapakita ng pinakamataas na antas ng pamantayan sa pagmimina at tagumpay sa larangan ng environmental management, occupational health and safety, at wagi sa pagpapatupad ng kanilang corporate social responsibility bilang bahagi ng responsableng pagmimina.

Samantala, nasungkit din ng FCF Emergency Response Team (ERT) ang ikalawang pwesto sa isinagawang First Aid Competition na isinagawa naman sa Melvin Jones Grandstand sa Baguio City.
