MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has secured the technical assistance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for its digital transformation plan in government service.

The CSC, led by its Chairman Karlo Nograles and Commissioner Aileen Lizada, had an initial meeting with ADB country director for the Philippines Pavit Ramachandran and ADB Principal Management specialist for eGovernance Seok Yong Yoon last April 8 in connection with the technical assistance that the ADB will provide for the CSC’s “Digital Transformation of the Civil Service” project.

“ADB’s support marks the beginning of a new chapter in our digital journey in the CSC,” Nograles said after the meeting held at the CSC Central Office in Quezon City.

“This technical assistance is crafted to enhance our institution’s comprehension and capabilities in navigating the digital landscape to ensure that our services remain responsive and user-centric,” he added.

During the meeting, Ramachandran said technical support for “Information Technology Research and Advisory Services,” CSC’s digital maturity, shall be provided by Ernst & Young (EY) LLP (India), represented by project management specialist Debarchana Bhattacharya, EY Philippines technology consulting leader Lee Carlo Abadia and EY global leader for people consulting Shalinder Bakshi.
