MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Member Aileen Lizada as the ad interim commissioner of Civil Service Commission.
In an appointment letter dated November 9, Duterte said Lizada’s term will expire on Feb. 2, 2025.
“By virtue hereof, you may qualify and enter upon the performance of the duties of the office,” the appointment letter read.
The certified copy of the appointment letter was received and signed by the Office of the President Malacañang Records Office on Wednesday. Its copy was released to the media on Thursday.
Lizada will replace former CSC commissioner Robert Martinez.
She previously served as a spokesperson of the LTFRB.
