MANILA, Philippines — The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) on Tuesday announced that some domestic flights have been canceled due to bad weather.
State weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring tropical depression "Henry" which has slightly accelerated and continues to move westward.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon, or "habagat", is expected to bring rains over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro Provinces, Palawan and Western Visayas.
The following flights were canceled as of Tuesday morning:
- 5J 513 - Manila to San Jose, Mindoro
- 5J 514 - San Jose, Mindoro to Manila
The MIAA advised affected passengers to call their respective airlines for flight rebooking and assistance. — Patricia Lourdes Viray
