LIVE: Senate hearing on impact of slow Internet speed

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has one of the most expensive Internet connections and slowest Internet speeds in the region despite its fast-paced economic growth.

The Senate committee on trade, commerce and entrepreneurship, led by panel chair Sen. Benigno "Bam" Aquino IV, is set to hear resource persons and other stakeholders on the impact of the slow and expensive Internet connection.
