Trillanes: Binay is not trustworthy

MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Jejomar backing out from a one-on-one debate with Sen. Antonio Trillanes is proof that he cannot be trusted, the senator said on Tuesday morning.
"Nagpapatunay na hindi talaga mapagkakatiwalaan si Vice President Binay at wala siyang isang salita," Trillanes said in an interview with radio dzMM.
The senator revealed that Binay was involved in the planning of the Manila Peninsula rebellion in 2007, where the then Makati City mayor failed to show up. He alleged that Binay was "hiding" in Quezon City at the time.
"Noong nangyari ang insidente kami lang and nandoon, wala si Binay... 'Yan ang aking sad experience kay Vice President Binay," Trillanes said.
On his decision to not attend the debate, Binay said, "Pinal na. Pinal na... Marami na akong naririnig na kesyo ako ang magaling; ayaw kong maging mali ang impresyon ng tao."
