Pia Lee-Brago - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A low-pressure area which entered the country yesterday had dissipated by noon, according to the state weather bureau.

However, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Isabela will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest to southeast will prevail over Luzon and the rest of the country, Pagasa said.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
