Global tilt on improving lives of women launched

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Singapore Committee for United Nations Women and MasterCard launched this year's Project Inspire: 5 Minutes to Change the World, where organizations pitch projects on how to improve the world especially for women and girls.

Project Inspire is open to any existing organization- social enterprises, non-profits, small or medium businesses and corporate organizations.

Ten finalists will be selected and flown to Singapore to participate in a five-day boot camp, which culminates in the Grand Final. The boot camp includes workshops led by INSEAD and Bain & Company to help finalists hone their business skills. Finalists will also be paired with a mentor, who will be chosen based on their area of expertise and the finalist’s project.

On August 30, the winner will be awarded a $25,000 grant to implement their project.

Interested? Apply here. Deadline for submission of entries is on June 30.
