MANILA, Philippines - A lone bettor from Makati City won the P250-million Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot drawn late Monday.
Philippine Charity Sweepstake Office (PCSO) general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas said the winner placed his bet at the Pio del Pilar St. Makati lotto outlet.
Rojas said the bettor got the winning combination of 39-21-42-28-05-27.
There were also 25 winners of the P169,410 second prize and 2,700 winners of the P1,250 third prize, he said.
Last April 1, a businessman from San Fernando, Pampanga won the P63-million Super Lotto jackpot.
Rojas said the 32-year-old winner who placed the combination 09-13-17-20-22-29 is married with two children.
According to Rojas, the winning bettor placed a P40 bet on a number combination he dreamt of. The winner has been playing the lotto for the past 13 years.
Rojas said the winner said he plans to use the money to expand his trading business and will save some for his children.
