LTFRB to come out with decision on Don Mariano bus firm

MANILA, Philippines - The Land Transportation Franchise and Regulatory Board is set to come out today with the decision on the case against Don Mariano Transit firm whose bus figured in a fatal road mishap December last year.

The LTFRB ruling on the case is two days earlier as announced by its chairman Winton Ginez, who imposed a 30 day suspension against the bus firm.

Don Mariano bus company could face cancellation or revocation of its franchise if found guilty of several violations.

On Dec. 16, 2013, a bus of the Don Mariano Transit plunged from the Skyway in Parañaque City and landed on another vehicle, killing 20 people and hurting several others.
