Llasos, 31st overall, first to concede

MANILA, Philippines - Senatorial candidate Marwil Llasos of Ang Kapatiran Party was the first to concede yesterday after unofficial results showed him among the tailenders in the Senate race.

In his Facebook account, Llasos expressed gratitude to the people who prayed and supported his senatorial bid.

“Once again, thank you very much for those who prayed, supported and voted for me,” Llasos said.

He thanked his supporters for being with him in his fight for a Senate seat.

“I fought in the name of principle. We may not have succeeded now, but the fight continues for a better future for our youth,”he added.

Llasos said he would continue pursuing his advocacies outside the Senate halls.
