Japan gives P137-M education grant to Phl

Manila, Philippines -  Japanese Ambassador Toshinao Urabe and Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario recently exchanged notes on the Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) Project amounting to about P137 million (258 million yen).

The grant aid provides fund to cover 20 JDS fellows, consisting of young Filipino officials from various governmental institutions, such as Department of Budget and Management, National Statistical Coordination Board, and Commission on Audit, who will visit Japan for the coming academic year 2012-2013.
