SM Foodcourt, Coca-Cola sign contract

-

MANILA, Philippines - SM Foodcourt and Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines recently signed a contract for the former to be the exclusive distributor of beverages for five years in all the 36 SM. SM Prime Holdings Inc. president Hans Sy and Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines chief executive officer Bill Schultz led the signing at the SMX Meeting Room.

SM Prime Holdings Inc. executive vice president Jeffrey Lim, SM Supermalls president Annie Garcia, and Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines national key accounts director Eric Montinola were also present.

“The partnership that we have with important customers like SM Foodcourt inspires us to really work in multiple fronts to drive our respective businesses together for the long term,” Schultz shares. “The secret recipe of Coca-Cola has three ingredients. It is innovation, service, and partnership.”

He adds, “Our goal is to refresh the lives of the Filipino people one bottle at a time. Maybe SM Foodcourt’s tagline should now be ‘Let’s eat... and drink!’”

“This project is only the beginning. I am very positive about this, and I look forward to many more partnership agreements with Coca-Cola,” Sy says.

The partnership comes in time with the celebration of one hundred years of Coca-Cola in the Philippines, its first market in Asia.

With this, Coca-Cola products such as Coke, Coke Light, Coke Zero, Sprite, Royal, and Minute Maid will be served at SM Foodcourts, that will open branches when new malls SM City Consolacion in Cebu and SM City General Santos open.
